Description: Edible mushroom. This kind of champignons is becoming more and more popular in the Czech Republic. Unlike the ordinary type of champignons, it not as cultivated and its solid content is higher; it retains the distinctive taste and aroma of a champignon collected in the wild.

Use: Portobello mushrooms can be used in cooking similar to other dried mushrooms. It is suitable in soups, sauces and with meat. Fresh specimens can be prepared as mushroom steaks, grilled or baked in the oven or used in hamburgers. Recommendation: Before use, soak in water for 1 hour.
