Description: Edible mushroom. It is considered the most popular mushroom in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and elsewhere in Europe. Its common names in Czech include pravák, bílý hřib, smrčák, smrkovák or smrkovej doubravník.

Use: It is widely used in a variety of dishes. Drying emphasises its mushroom aroma. It is great in sauces, soups, or with meat, pasta or risotto. Dried mushrooms are more aromatic than fresh ones. Recommendation: Before use, soak in water or milk for 2 hours.
