Description: The early morel is an exquisite edible mushroom species. It is among the species that appear after the first snowmelt in spring. Along with the common morel, which it strongly resembles, it is one of the most sought-after mushrooms in the Czech Republic.

Use:  It is the queen of spring cuisine and an absolute delicacy. It is great in sauces, salads, spreads, or in meat dishes. The caps can be stuffed or prepared as they are. It is very popular in France, Italy or Spain where it is commonly served in high-end restaurants.
